Evapoclean, closed environment evaporator

Evapoclean six station 33 ml model

Evapoclean options

The Evapoclean is a recent patented innovation developed in collaboration with the Institute de Physique du Globe in Paris. The evaporation is done in a totally enclosed environment, free from any outside contamination. This offers the dual benefit of processing reagents for ultra trace analysis and requiring no vapour neutralisation systems.

Evapoclean will process aqueous solutions; organic solvents; acidic and alkaline solutions and concentrated solutions with aggressive reagents such as HF, HCl, HNO3, H2O2, H2SO4 NH4OH.

By virtue of its ingenious design, the Evapoclean offers a number of unique benefits:

  • Perfomance - Partial or total evaporation with good recoveries down to ppt levels, without reflux and degredation of sample
  • Time saving - Rapid evaporation at constant and controlled temperature
  • Safety - no hazard to staff or environment
  • Flexibility - Ports in the top surface can be used for routine digestions

The Evapoclean can also be used to purify acids and a special version of this to produce large volumes will be relased shortly

A range of models is available to suit every need. Six and twelve station versions are available with holes suitable for 33ml or 125ml Savillex type PFA jars
